Online Telephone Management System

ABSTRACT

The purpose of ONLINE TELEPHONE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM is to offer a   user-friendly solution to Tele service providers and their subscribers who want to take up a new land line connection or transfer the existing connection. By using this project we can easily fulfill our requirements instead of contacting the telephone exchange every time.

It has the most key features like: Providing online applications for new subscribers to take a connection and for old subscribers to transfer their connection etc. The system also maintains subscribers’ details such as subscriber id, subscriber name, contact details of subscribers and also the various services offered to subscriber. These details can be viewed and modified by only an authorized person who will be given valid user id and password. After providing the valid login details the authorized person can add, delete and update the subscribers’ details. However all the users can access to the applications provided by the system.

This project has mainly two modules, user module and admin module. In user module, the subscribers can log on to the system and avail all the services such as request for address change, phone number change and submitting complaints. In admin module, only the authorized person can enter to the system with valid login details. Then the administrator services all the requests put by the subscribers and listen to the complaints.

The Theoretical background of the “ONLINE TELEOPHONE MANAGMENTSYSTEM” mainly used to know how to get interacted with the USER and to know the updates and to obtain the solutions to our problems.

     This “ONLINE TELEOPHONE MANAGMENTSYSTEM” consists of two modules.

  1. USER module
  2. ADMIN module

In user module, the subscribers can log on to the system and avail all the services such as request for address change, phone number change and submitting complaints.

In admin module, only the authorized person can enter to the system with valid login details. Then the administrator services all the requests put by the subscribers and listen to the complaints.

EXISTING SYSTEM:

This project aims at defining the overall software requirements for efficient management of Online Telephone Management system. In real time, the subscribers of telephone need to go physically to the office for the new connections and all changes in their details. Also the administrator needs to check every application manually.

 PROPOSED SYSTEM: In order to decrease the manual work, we propose this project which makes all the above stated works easier and user friendly. In this project the users upon log into the system, can apply for a new connection, change of address, change of phone number. And also users can submit their complaints too. The administrator enters the system with the valid login details. After login, administrator can listen to the applications and respond to them by changing the phone numbers, addresses and accepting complaints.
