ABSTRACT
The revolutionary trends of computerization have reached the peaks achieving global goals in all fields and sectors. The Library systems getting computerized are leading to a new and innovative way to approach to above say.
Today’s trend demands high rate of automation for the Library as the organizations a rapidly growing in exponential form and maintaining employee records in a consistent format. To satisfy the needs of clients, today’s organization need more and more of workforce.
With the total automation of Library, the manual dependency is minimized to a large extent. It inherits all the properties of computerizing a system, which includes quick response, less processing time, non-diligence, fast recovery, robustness, flexibility, reliability, scalability.
E –Campus is an automated system used to manage library and various functionalities associated with it. Apart from keeping track of books this system performs various transactions and generates reports.
EXISTING SYSTEM
The present system manages all library information across ledgers and files. Maintenance all data related to books, borrowers and librarians is done manually using conventional procedures. These methods are not effective and lead to mismanagement of data. It is difficult for a user to check the availability of a book and to make reservations.
PROPOSED SYSTEM The proposed system maintains a centralized repository of information using which one can access the required information in a convenient manner. The system provides facilities to find details of books and magazines, to register books, to cancel registrations and other activities. The system incorporates the details related to authors and publishers as well.
