Objective:

         The objective of the project is to develop a system that provides functionalities to maintain the details of forestry and related activities. The system allows one to perform all major operations and to manage the data effectively.

Existing system:

         The present system maintains data across ledgers and files. It is difficult to search for data and manage the information. The system often mismanages the information and this leads to data inconsistencies and data losses.

Proposed system:

         The proposed system is a web based application and maintains a centralized repository of all information. The system provides well defined interfaces and provides access to all users. The system allows the generation of reports.
