1. Abstract
Rebuilding Together is a voluntarily, non-profit organization based in USA for rebuilding homes and communities nationwide by providing low-income homeowners with critical home repairs, accessibility modifications and energy-efficient upgrades. Rebuilding Together’s local affiliates and nearly 100,000 volunteers complete about 10,000 rebuild projects each year. With the help of everyday citizen volunteers, skilled trades people and the support of local business and major corporate partners, Rebuilding Together affiliates make life better for thousands of low-income homeowners every year.
2. System Specification
2.1 Existing System:
In present systems it is difficult to coordinate the activities of all involved users. Often the details of facilities and amenities available in a rebuilding system are not properly organized and maintained. This results in mismanaged activities. Sponsors and others could not interact with other active members.
2.1.1 Disadvantages
- Very difficult to gather material and other things
- Does not maintain the information of skilled professionals.
2.2 Proposed System:
The proposed system maintains a centralized database to store information related to all activities. The system maintains details of all group members and their activities. The system also maintains information regarding Sponsors , Volunteers and applicants. System allows one to access the necessary information about the facilities available in a Home Rebuilding management system.
